FAQ

General Questions

Do I have to have a partner?

The culture of Tango encourages dancing with many people. It’s a dance party…you dance and socialize with people you know or would like to meet!

What kind of shoes should I wear?

You should bring shoes that can pivot smoothly on hardwood. Often leather-soled shoes are best but some kinds of rubber or synthetics work as well. Followers often wear high-heels (and finding the perfect pair of shoes is hours of fun) and leads tend to wear flats.

How much does it cost?

Cover charges vary but most places in town charge from $2-$7.
